Covantis, a Geneva-based technology company, has joined the coworking space Westhive Geneva Pont-Rouge as its workplace in Switzerland.
The company currently employs around 50 people worldwide. While its headquarters are based in the Geneva area, Covantis operates with an international team. Approximately 15 to 20 employees are based in Switzerland, with additional team members located in Europe, notably Romania, and in South America, including Brazil.
Founded in 2020 by major agricultural trading groups (ADM, Bunge, Cargill, COFCO, Louis Dreyfus Company, and Viterra), Covantis develops a digital platform designed to support post-trade operations in global agricultural commodity markets.
In an interview published by Westhive, Carine Cohuet explains that flexibility was a key factor in the choice of workspace. Rather than committing to a traditional long-term office lease, Covantis selected a coworking solution that could accommodate its evolving needs.
Westhive Geneva Pont-Rouge was chosen for its flexible office setup, central location in Geneva, and the ability for team members to work together in a shared environment. Covantis has been based at Westhive for over two years.
