Sofia‑based flexible workspace provider WorkBetter reports that around 70 % of its clients are international corporations.

Among the global companies using WorkBetter’s offices are Infosys, Dell, Booking.com and Man Group, reflecting a shift in demand toward enterprise‑level flexible workspace solutions.

WorkBetter was co‑founded and is led by Tony Aleksandrov, who returned to Bulgaria after eight years working in Germany’s coworking sector.

The first WorkBetter location opened in 2022, and it was the first coworking operator in Bulgaria to establish space in a modern Class‑A office building, marking a step toward higher‑end flexible office offerings in Sofia.

Since its launch, the company has expanded to three locations in Sofia — WorkBetter 1.0, WorkBetter 2.0 and WorkBetter Tsarigradsko — collectively covering around 13 000 m² of workspace with more than 1 300 desks.

The portfolio includes a mix of open coworking areas, dedicated desks and private offices, with team solutions for groups ranging from small teams up to larger corporate units. WorkBetter generates the majority of its revenue from larger corporate clients and international teams.

According to Aleksandrov, the demand from international organisations has grown as Bulgaria has become a stronger regional hub for technology and professional services talent. This demand has encouraged the operator to design spaces with features that resonate with global firms’ expectations, such as modern interiors, flexible lease terms and a full range of workspace services. In addition to workspace rentals, WorkBetter has hosted numerous events, seminars and networking gatherings, helping establish its locations as hubs for both community and business activities within Sofia’s tech and innovation ecosystem.
