HR technology company HiBob has opened a new office in De Weesper, a flexible office building in Amsterdam that combines conventional office leases with coworking and managed workspace services. The deal was facilitated by workplace brokerage Flexas, which supported the company in identifying the location.
According to Rotem Erman, who oversees workplace projects for HiBob, the Amsterdam office was designed as a managed office environment tailored to the company’s operational needs while benefiting from the services and infrastructure of the building. In a statement accompanying the opening, he noted that the project was developed not only as a workspace for the local team but also as a design reference for other HiBob offices globally, reflecting the company’s workplace standards and culture. The Amsterdam space incorporates collaborative areas, meeting rooms, and workstations aligned with the company’s approach to modern workplace design.
The office is located at De Weesper, a 10.000 m2 flexible office complex offering several workspace models, including coworking desks, serviced offices and managed “conventional” offices for larger teams. In this model, companies occupy a private office floor or suite within the building while relying on the operator for services such as reception, meeting facilities, building operations and shared amenities. This allows occupiers to maintain a branded and self-contained office environment without managing the infrastructure themselves.
HiBob develops the “Bob” HR platform, a cloud-based human capital management system used by companies to manage employee data, performance management and workforce operations. Founded in 2015, the company has grown to around 1,500–2,000 employees globally and serves more than 2,500 organizations worldwide. The Amsterdam team forms part of the company’s European operations and is estimated to consist of several dozen employees.
