E-commerce marketplace Groupon has committed to approximately 604 m2 of flexible office space at beyond Aldgate Tower in London, marking a continuation of its presence in the building that has housed parts of its UK operations since 2018.
The real estate adviser CBRE acted for Groupon in the transaction, and announced it.
The space is provided by beyond, a flexible workspace operator that is part of the infinitSpace portfolio. The beyond network includes multiple locations in London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. beyond Aldgate Tower is a multi-floor flexible workspace in East London. beyond offers a range of workspace products, from coworking and dedicated desks to private offices, all on flexible terms.
Groupon’s move to beyond Aldgate reflects its broader approach to real estate that includes flexible workspace alongside larger office footprints. The company has maintained a presence in Aldgate Tower with its UK business for several years, choosing the flexible environment for parts of its workforce and collaborative needs.
Groupon has more than 2 000 employees globally, down from earlier peaks but reflective of a leaner organisational structure in recent years.
