London-based education technology company Atom Learning has relocated into a “self-contained” managed office in central London, consolidating its team into an 80-desk workspace within a coworking operated building. The move follows a period in which the company had already been operating from a coworking environment.
The new space, brokered by Flux HQ, is described as “self-contained,” meaning Atom Learning occupies a fully private office suite within a larger flexible workspace building. While the office is part of a managed property (reportedly located at Beyond’s Fox Court) the company has exclusive access to its own internal meeting rooms, phone booths, and collaboration areas.
The arrangement provides the advantages of flexibility – shorter lease terms, operational support, and reduced upfront capital expenditure – while giving the company greater control over its culture, branding, and day-to-day workflow. For scale-ups such as Atom Learning, this hybrid model offers a middle ground between traditional leased offices and open coworking floors.
Founded in 2018, Atom Learning develops online learning and exam preparation tools for primary school students, supporting families and schools with adaptive educational technology. The company has grown rapidly in recent years and now employs around 100 staff.
